The
Schoolhouse Electric Co's Metropolitan wall scone fixture reminds us of the electric wall fixtures inside the Empire State Building -- you know that look, 50s art-deco. Not surprising since the company owner Brian Faherty got his inspiration from cast-iron molds he found in an upstate New York warehouse. Though the Metropolitan wall scone from Schoolhouse Electric has a nostalgic feel, it somehow manages to look ultra-modern as well. When used in the right setting, this light fixture will give your room, here comes the buzzword, personality.
The Metropolitan wall fixture is available in polished aluminum and is only rated for damp locations. The opal glass shade is included. The dimensions are: L=9.75" W=4.125" D=4" with a max wattage of 100. Retail price is $259 USD.
