Panasonic is one of the bigger GPS device manufacturer in Japan and it was only a matter of time before they introduced a new GPS to the US market. Enter the Strada CN-GP50U, a high-end portable car GPS system that comes pre-loaded with NAVTEQ mapping software with map data for the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Mexico, plus detailed maps of 86 U.S. cities. Additionally, there will be 1.8 million searchable Points of Interest so any information you'll need on the fly should be readily available.
Other features in the
Panasonic Strada CN-GP50U are a digital camera photo viewer (aka image slide shows), a voice command function allowing you to set your destination verbally, and a 5-inch display.
The MSRP for the Panasonic Strada CN-GP50U Portable Car GPS System will be $499.95, so this device is in direct competition with the more advanced GPS systems out there; expect loads of features when it is released.
We hope to have a full review when the Panasonic Strada CN-GP50U Portable Car GPS System is released in December 2007.
