The ThinkGeek LED Faucet Lights turn your ordinary faucet into an illuminating experience and in true Geek fashion, turns something as normal as a faucet, into a sci-fi gadget. There are two versions available of their faucet LED light. The first is a blue color LED that illuminates when you let your water run. The second, and by far our favorite, is the red/blue LED combination light.
Why is it our favorite? Simple, when you turn on your water faucet the blue light shines. However, as soon as the water temperature goes past a warm 89 degrees, it activates the red LED giving out a red-hot glow. Come on, even you can admit that's pretty sweet.
The faucet LED lights come as a package: you get the chamber with the LED lights, 2 universal adapters that fit most USA faucets, as well as two sets of G13-A style watch batteries.
The blue package will run you a cool $12.99, while the red/light package will cost you a modest $19.99. In our opinion, the extra $7.00 make the jump to the combo worth every intergalactic penny.
