November 14th is the official release date of the
Zune although some stores are already accepting pre-orders orders. The Zune is
Microsoft's answer to the much sought after
Apple iPod. The
Zune will be packed with 30 GB of capacity which can hold 7,500 songs, 100 hours of video, or 25,000 pictures. The 3 inch screen on the
Zune makes it very attractive and easy to use.
The Zune is easy to navigate just like its Apple counterpart. The landscape mode is great to watch videos since it is one of the largest on the market today and it makes movie watching more natural. Another neat feature is a built-in radio where the headphones act as the antenna. The radio features RBBS (Remote Bulletin Board System) technology so you can see the name of the song as well as the artist and album playing at that moment. The Zune is also able to share audio files with other
Zune devices through a wireless link. The device is also customizable so you can put your own background picture.
The Zune will sell for approximately 249.99.
