The GLAS thermostat was created by Johnson controls and is powered by Microsoft Windows IOT Core. It utilizes Microsoft Azure to allow interfacing with Cortana for voice controls. Microsoft is also teaming with Amazon and Google to allow control of the thermostat from either Alexa or the Google Assistant as well. It features a translucent OLED touchscreen with a really nice graphic design that fits well in any environment to let you know what is going on. The thermostat has presence sensing and monitoring of indoor and outdoor temperatures to automatically set the right mood based on your preferences. It features an App that can be installed on iPhone and Android phones alike. The thermostat retails at $319.00 which while a little steep for us but, it just looks so sexy!!!
