Heat & Glo, makers of high-end fireplaces, recently introduced The Aqueon Hydrogen Burning Fireplace, the first fireplace fueled by water. This means that the fire does not generate carbon monoxide, in fact, it replenishes oxygen in the home. Pretty cool. The technology allows for 31,000 Btu/ hour of heat energy to be generated in the room by using 1/2 gallon of water per hour. You can read more about the
Aqueon Hydrogen Burning Fireplace at the Heat & Glo Web site. 100% pollution-free fireplace in 2005. Who would have thought.
